Brentford bridge

Contemporary Brentford, as imagined by some of its youngest residents! This ‘Connection to Place’ initiative, funded by the Community Rail Partnership in collaboration with Green Dragon Primary School, brought together myself, Alison Cotton, and two classes of local Year 4 students. We worked with the children to transform their stories and artistic ideas about Brentford into a vibrant storytelling mural that we designed and painted across Brentford Bridge. Our co-design approach actively involved the children at every stage of the creative process, aiming to deepen their personal connection to the artwork and foster a greater sense of pride in their surroundings.
